The Sydney Roosters have tonight won the 2013 NRL Minor Premiership in
front of the biggest stand-alone crowd for a regular season match in
Rugby League history.
The Roosters’ 24-12 victory in front of a crowd of 59,708 smashed a host of crowd records:
- Tonight’s crowd is the biggest ever stand-alone regular season
attendance, surpassing the 58,593 set in 1993 between the Broncos and
- It is the highest stand-alone regular season
crowd in Sydney, surpassing the record of 51,686 set on Good Friday this
year between the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs;

highest ever NRL Friday night regular season attendance, surpassing the
mark of 37,773 set in 2010 at ANZ Stadium between the Bulldogs and
