Successful Newcastle Under-20s coach Mick Crawley has been lured back to Canberra where he will serve as an assistant coach under Ricky Stuart for two seasons from 2015.

Crawley has steered the Knights' young brigade to the top of the NYC ladder this season. He is also one of the Knights current assistant NRL coaches working with Wayne Bennett at the Knights (2012-2014) and has worked with Neil Henry at the Cowboys (2009-2011) and the Raiders (2007-2008). 

Raiders CEO Don Furner said the club was thrilled to have Crawley back at the club as an assistant to Ricky Stuart and said his experience and knowledge would be a valuable addition to the Raiders coaching staff.
