Broncos and Australian winger Jharal Yow Yeh is unlikely to return to the football field in 2012 after suffering a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle on Friday night.
Yow Yeh flew back from Perth on Sunday after having the wound closed and cleaned at Perth Hospital and will now have to wait for the swelling to go down before further surgery can take place.
It is likely that it will be at least a week before the surgery can occur, which will affect Yow Yew’s recovery time.
