It's week two of the Holden NRL Fantasy Finals, with another $500 up for grabs. To be in the running to win it, simply pick a six-man Fantasy team from each of the weekend's two matches, including captains (who will earn triple points) and vice captains (who will earn double) from each game.
Here are the standout players and team changes for both matches.
Roosters v Cowboys, Friday night at Allianz Stadium
Roosters: A massive inclusion for both the premiers and Fantasy coaches is the returning Jake Friend, who has been named to start at hooker after overcoming from his chest injury. Fill-in No.9 Mitchell Aubusson reverts to the bench and may spend some time at dummy-half, but Friend is a great worker and should score well if he's a confirmed starter. Despite being pipped by a Jamie Soward field goal the Tricolours still dominated the Fantasy scores in their clash with Penrith last week, with Mitch Pearce, Aubusson, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Boyd Cordner, Sonny Bill Williams and Aubusson all passing the 50-point mark. Halves Pearce and James Maloney are both capable of going big (as are their Cowboys counterparts) while picking the right Roosters back-rower could be crucial here.
Cowboys: Tariq Sims is out through suspension, with Glenn Hall starting in the pack and Ethan Lowe joining the bench. Johnathan Thurston has been comfortably outscored by Robert Lui in the last couple of weeks, while Matt Scott looks the best of the props on show in this game. The outside backs positions are bit of a lottery on Friday night, so keep it simple and go with players from the side you expect to score the most points.
Sea Eagles v Bulldogs, Saturday night at Allianz Stadium
Sea Eagles: Anthony Watmough is suspended, with Dunamis Lui moving into the starting back row and James Hasson returning from injury on the bench. Jayden Hodges has been named at hooker despite being stretchered off with a neck injury last week and must be in some doubt. Daly Cherry-Evans was the closest Manly got to a decent Fantasy scorer in their ambush at the hands of the Rabbitohs, and he appears to be the safest bet in the halves again here. With Manly's form on the slide you'd have to be confident they'll bounce back this week to stack your side with Sea Eagles here.
Bulldogs: Canterbury have named a six-man bench but their starters are unchanged and that's who you'll be picking your Fantasy side from. The Dogs have a few obvious buys in this contest, with the excellent James Graham, the tackle-hungry Josh Jackson and the try-happy Tim Lafai all in fine Fantasy form at the moment. Michael Ennis doesn't have much competition at hooker either. Again, the winger/fullback position looks like a bit of a lottery, with Sam Perrett just pipping Brett Stewart as the more consistent Fantasy scorer of 2014.
