Lone Scout's wrap of the weekend's NRL Fantasy winners and losers, led by centurion James Tedesco and Wests Tigers teammate Martin Taupau.

Origin Fantasy is back

Did your NRL Fantasy side have a rough week? Want something extra to be cheering for on Wednesday night? Or would you just like the chance for an extra $500 in your wallet? Either way, it's time to lock in your six-man Fantasy side for State of Origin II.

Play Origin Fantasy now

Again, it's simple: pick one player for each of the six designated positions, make one of them your captain (triple points) and another your vice captain (double points) and you're done.

The highest-scoring team will earn its coach $500, and the best Fantasy coach across the three Origin games will win another $500 plus two Category 1 tickets to this year's NRL Grand Final.

Teddy hits the ton

Just a couple of weeks back we were celebrating the first individual 100 of the NRL Fantasy season, and now James Tedesco has joined Matt Scott in the hundred club for 2015. The Tigers fullback was superb in his side's shock win over the Rabbitohs on Friday night, with Tedesco and teammate Martin Taupau (87) scoring two tries each. Tedesco is in super touch of late, scoring three tries, running for more than 600 metres and making a whopping 34 tackle breaks in his past three games. He's now valued at more than $400,000 but with a break-even of 4 that price will continue to climb.

Elsewhere, Warriors centre Solomone Kata got amongst the tries as well this week and caused plenty of headaches for the Roosters defence with 73 Fantasy points; Melbourne's Tohu Harris repaid the faith of those who held onto him with 69 points including a try and three goals in Cameron Smith's absence; cash cow Sio Siua Taukeiaho sparked his Roosters side to a comeback win and was rewarded with 68 Fantasy points, and Tigers halfback Luke Brooks had a big game against returning Souths counterpart Adam Reynolds and scored 63.

Eels, Rabbits take a break as stars return

The Origin stars will be back in action for Round 15, with Fantasy sides looking to get something close to full strength again. They'll still have to do without Rabbitohs and Eels stars, with those clubs both having a bye.

The bye has come at the right time for Parramatta, who were hit hard by injury in their win over the Storm on Monday, with a possible torn ACL for Nathan Peats the biggest concern for Fantasy coaches aiming at overall points. Reece Robinson, Anthony Watmough and Brad Takairangi could also be sidelined through injury.

Fingers crossed Origin II doesn't result in a similar injury toll on Wednesday night.
