Manly centre Dylan Walker was a strong performer against the Dragons in Round 17.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today issued centre Dylan Walker with a breach notice and fined him $10,000 following an incident on Saturday night.

Walker damaged his right hand in the incident at his apartment and will subsequently miss up to a month of football.

Walker and his partner met with Sea Eagles officials early this morning.

They admitted Walker struck out with frustration when he had trouble opening the wooden front door to his apartment.

He and his partner immediately drove to the casualty department of St Vincents Hospital for x-rays and treatment.

Walker had been out with several team mates in Manly up until around 10pm on Saturday night, with the players having the weekend off as a result of the bye.

Walker will have further scans on his right hand today.

The club has advised the NRL Integrity Unit of the incident and will make no further comment on the matter.
