The National Rugby League has confirmed it has granted the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks Football Club, Mr Shane Flanagan and Mr Trent Elkin an extension of time to respond to breach notices issued in December last year.
The original deadline for response was 15 January 2014 and following request from the parties, it has been extended until 29 January 2014.
As previously advised, NRL Chief Executive Officer, Mr Dave Smith, will take the necessary time to give proper consideration to the contents of the responses before a final decision regarding penalties is determined.
Further comment will be provided when the final decision has been made.
