The Joseph family, Nellie, Josh, Alex, Lottie and Lenny, enjoy a pie and drink at Allianz Stadium.

Fans will be able to enjoy a pie and soft drink for just $5 – a discount of more than 50 per cent - prior to kick off at the NRL Telstra Premiership Finals matches at Allianz Stadium this weekend.

The offer is available at the Allianz Stadium Finals matches between Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm on Friday night and Cronulla Sutherland Sharks and South Sydney Rabbitohs on Sunday afternoon.

ANZ Stadium has joined the $5 pie and soft drink deal for the match between Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra Dragons.

This deal represents a huge saving of more than 50 per cent off the regular retail price of $10.70.

"We're always looking at ways to make it more affordable for families to come to the footy," NRL Head of Football Todd Greenberg said.

"This is the lowest price for a pie and soft drink in decades," he said.

"The $5 pie and soft drink deal, combined with tickets starting from $20 for the general public, makes it an affordable night of Finals footy action for the entire family.

"Arrive at the game early to take advantage of this pre-game $5 pie and soft drink offer."

The NRL and the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust have teamed up to make the offer available to all ticketholders.

The $5 pie and soft drink deal is only available in the Sydney Live Plaza area outside the southern end of Allianz Stadium right up until kick off – not at the food and beverage outlets inside the ground.

Around 2.9 million people attended NRL Telstra Premiership matches during the regular season – an average of 15,078 per game.

Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust Chief Executive Jamie Barkley said Allianz Stadium was delighted to partner with the NRL during the Telstra Premiership Finals Series.

"With the big screens on, free wi-fi and plenty of other food and beverage options, there is no better place to be before the NRL Finals kick off at Allianz Stadium," he said.
