New Zealand Warriors youngster Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad's despair has turned to joy after his debut NRL jersey was returned by Auckland police a week after it was stolen.
The 22-year-old sought assistance from the public via social media last week after his car was stolen in Auckland while he was in the process of moving house.
In the boot was the jersey he wore against the Sydney Roosters in round nine with his name and Warriors No.218 embroidered on it.
"A lot of goods can be replaced except this jersey," an upset Nicoll-Klokstad posted after the theft.

His car was subsequently located, but a week later he had further cause to rejoice after the treasured memento was returned.
The Warriors' Twitter account posted an image of the rising star with two police officers, his returned jersey and the message: "Getting told my jersey was found brought back the feeling of being told I was debuting!"
Nicoll-Klokstad, the Warriors' 2017 clubman of the year, provided one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season for the Auckland-based club.
He scored seven tries in seven games in a campaign that has seen his contract extended until the end of 2019.
After first making his name as a member of the Melbourne Storm's Toyota Cup squad in 2014-15, the utility back's career has steadily been on the rise since he joined the Warriors ahead of the 2016 NRL season.
After being named as the club's 2016 NSW Cup player of the year, Nikoll-Klokstad impressed many at the club during his debut season in the top grade.
