Craig Bellamy said his side were rewarded for effort during the Storm's 42-0 thumping of the Warriors as them seem to finally have hit their straps in attack.
It was only the third time this season the Storm had managed to score more then 20 points in a game, but Bellamy was visibly pleased by the way his team performed on Anzac Day.
"Tonight our attack was really good and really sharp, especially our first 20-30 minutes. It's what we've been looking for, so hopefully we can keep it up now," Bellamy said.
"Everyone's worked really really hard, the players, the coaches, and the boys got a little reward for that tonight. We've got to make sure now that we keep that up and keep working.
Even though his side ran in eight tries, the shut out of the Warriors was one of the more pleasing elements on the night according to the Storm coach.
"That's a passionate part of the game for me, our defence," Bellamy said.
"To play a team like the Warriors who have a lot of strike in a lot of different areas, I'm really proud of how the boys defended tonight. We had a lot of the ball early but it evened out a little later on, and I thought we did a great job."
Storm second-rower Tohu Harris received the Spirit of Anzac medal, awarded to the best player on the ground, and Bellamy was pleased that Harris was able to shine in his new role and get a reward for the consistent work he's been putting in so far this season.
"He was outstanding tonight. He had about seven runs after 12 minutes, and that's a terrific work rate," Bellamy said.
"He's been really consistent for us and he plays 80 minutes every week, and I thought his start to the game really led the way for us."
"He had a certain role tonight, a little different then usual, but he went out and did it really well. We're really happy for him tonight, and I'm sure he's really proud to win the medal."
Storm captain Cameron Smith was quick to praise not only Harris but all of his forwards after the game, with the hooker applauding their work rate over recent weeks.
"Jesse [Bromwich] gets a lot of praise and so he should, but guys like Tim Glasby, Dale Finucane, Kenny Bromwich and Jordan McLean, they're playing some really good football at the moment," Smith said.
"They give myself, Blake [Green] and Cooper [Cronk] a lot of opportunities to play some footy, particularly coming off our own try-line and in the midfield. It's nice to have some size around us at the moment but their attitude and their work rate has just been unbelievable."
Not to be overshadowed by the big men, Smith also reversed some accolades for his outside backs too.
"I thought that was the best game that our edges have played all season," Smith said.
"Our middle did a really good job setting up some field position for them, and we just were in sync tonight with our attack. It's a nice little reminder to everyone from the players to the coaches that when we do get it right, we're a very, very good footy side."
Smith could hardly fault his team in attack on Monday night, and knows that they’ll be hard to stop should they continue on from where they left off against the Warriors.
"Tonight we were very direct, everyone was in position, and everyone wanted to make a difference," Smith said post-game.
"There's nothing that we did tonight that we should look to change, regardless of the opposition. People might say our attack is predictable and they know what's coming, but at the end of the day, they've got to stop it."
