Melbourne's Kenny Bromwich is set to play his 50th NRL game with the Storm.

In the lead up to the Storm's Anzac Day clash with the Warriors, Melbourne forwards Dale Finucane and Kenny Bromwich understand the bigger picture around their NRL Telstra Premiership game on April 25th.

This will be the seventh time in eight years these two sides have met on this historic day, and Finucane believes it's the right game to play to honour the Anzacs.

"It’s a massive occasion, especially against the Warriors, to have an Australian team and a New Zealand team to make up the Anzac concept is really big," Finucane said.

"I think it'll be a sell-out crowd for us on the weekend, and it means a lot to me personally to play on Anzac Day."

"When they play the Last Post and you stand still and reflect on what it means to you, and the sacrifices the Anzacs have made, I think that’s the moment when you take everything in."

The enormity of the clash isn't lost on any of the Storm players, especially on Kiwi Kenny Bromwich.

Bromwich knows that this is his side's biggest home fixture of the season, and said that while the Storm will pay their respects, they need to keep focused on the task ahead.

"It's a very special day to be playing on, and we're lucky to be playing the Warriors for this occasion. It's a massive game for us, it's the biggest home game we have, so it's huge for us to play and pay our respects to the Anzacs," Bromwich said.

"It will be emotional, looking beside myself and seeing the boys, but we've got to control that and go out there and play well."

The feeling around the Storm camp all week has been a promising one according to Finucane, as he believes his teammates are confident they can grab their sixth win of the season on Monday night.

"I think all the boys are feeling quite confident. We've had a good start to the year in terms of the ladder, and we're sitting at 5-2," Finucane said.

"The most pleasing thing is our defence, we pride ourselves on our defence and we know we've got the ability to score points, but we just haven’t clicked with that yet.

"We just hope that we train our structures well this week and our attack comes together."
