Sea Eagles winger Jorge Taufua will miss the rest of the 2017 Telstra Premiership season after suffering an ACL injury in his side's win over the Raiders.

Taufua scored eight tries in 12 appearances for Manly this year, a key part of Trent Barrett's side who currently sit in sixth on the NRL ladder.

The Manly flyer will undergo surgery before beginning rehab, with a view to return at the start of the 2018 season.
