Sam Thaiday is facing a dangerous throw charge.

Brisbane Broncos forward Sam Thaiday has been fined $2,100 after being found guilty of his contrary conduct charge at the NRL judiciary.

Thaiday was charged over an incident involving Jesse Bromwich in the 65th minute of Brisbane's clash with the Storm last Thursday night.

He would have received a $1,500 fine if he pleaded guilty to the charge, but the fine was increased after he challenged the charge and was found guilty by the judiciary panel. He is free to play this week.

Earlier, Parramatta Eels forward Tepai Moeroa accepted a one-match ban for a shoulder charge while Rabbitohs trio George Burgess (two matches), Hymel Hunt (four matches) and Braidon Burns (one match) all received suspensions after entering guilty pleas.

Newcastle Knights prop Josh Starling and Manly hooker Apisai Koroisau both avoided suspensions after pleading guilty to dangerous contact and dangerous throw charges respectively.
