Rugby league hierarchy have been given their tour of Gold Coast's new TFH High Performance Centre and now Titans fans can share in the excitement with a tour of their own this Saturday.
The $25-million dollar development that boasts indoor training courts, aqua therapy, a fully-equipped gymnasium, an altitude chamber, dedicated change-room facilities in addition to a huge indoor sports centre and 25 metre three-lane lap pool with separate hydrotherapy baths is a far cry from the temporary facilities Titans players have been preparing in for the past two seasons.
Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate, NRL CEO Todd Greenberg, ARLC Chairman John Grant, Titans Chiarwoman Rebecca Frizelle, Titans CEO Graham Annesley and Parkwood Village Managing Director Luke Altschwager unveiled the new facility on Tuesday but on Saturday it will be the chance for members and fans to experience what players now have at their disposal.
The Parkwood Village Open Day will be conducted between 1-4pm this Saturday, December 3, in what Annesley has described as one of the most significant developments in the club's 10-year history.
"This is one of the most significant positive steps for our club in our 10-year history," Annesley said.
"Not only do our staff and players benefit from outstanding facilities, but our loyal members, sponsors and corporate partners also automatically benefit from our partnership with Parkwood Village.
"To have a purpose-built facility housing our administration, coaching and specialist medical staff just metres from our training field as part of a multifaceted community club, is not only a great outcome operationally, but it just makes perfect business sense as the Titans continue to grow and evolve."
Titans fans are invited to join the playing squad this Saturday, December 3, when the TFH High Performance Centre will be open for free public tours between 1-4pm as part of the Parkwood Village Open Day.
