Panthers forward Chris Grevsmuhl is a late inclusion for his side's Round 24 clash with Wests Tigers.

The Gold Coast Titans today announced the signing of Chris Grevsmuhl, for two seasons, through until the end of 2018.

Grevsmuhl was released from his Penrith Panthers contract in November of last year due to personal issues and the Titans have been working with the 24-year-old over recent weeks to set-up the appropriate support network around him so he can produce his best football for the club.

The Townsville Brothers junior made his NRL debut in Round 1 of season 2015 and has since gone on to make 43 appearances at the top level, scoring 10 tries.

Head coach Neil Henry has previously worked with Grevsmuhl when at the North Queensland Cowboys and is convinced that the former Panther and Rabbitoh should be given the opportunity to resurrect his NRL career.

"Chris has obviously had some personal issues that he has had to deal with over the last few months and as a club we’ve taken our time to work with him to get the best results for everyone," Henry said.
