The crowd at Cbus Super Stadium will be more black than blue but the Titans insist the arrival en-masse of Warriors fans on Saturday will help to create an atmosphere that the home side will thrive in.

The crowd of 18,753 that watched the Warriors win a thrilling encounter 24-16 in Round 11 last season was dominated by Kiwi ex-pats and was the third-biggest crowd of the season on the Gold Coast.

With four wins from six away games so far this season the Titans are not averse to performing well in hostile surroundings and coach Neil Henry welcomed the large contingent of Warriors fans expected to make plenty of noise on Saturday.

"I think that's the atmosphere here. It's nothing new to our players. When we turn up here there's a lot of South Sydney supporters, it tends to be a popular trip," Henry said of the strong support away teams receive on the Gold Coast.

"I think it just adds to the challenge for our boys and we try to keep the away crowd quiet with a good performance and hopefully it's a big crowd here tomorrow afternoon.

"The team's performances at home have been tremendous. A couple of narrow losses where we've been in games and I think the fans would go away saying that we've had a crack and were a bit unlucky on a couple of occasions.

"I think we're playing an entertaining style of football and some gritty defence as well so hopefully we get a good turn-out."

The Warriors have won their past four games on the Gold Coast at a combined scoreline of 114-66 in front of an average crowd of 17,239, overcoming a 16-14 half-time deficit to win 24-16 last season.

The Titans' home record over the past two seasons sits at an embarrassing five wins from their past 19 games but captain Nate Myles said any imbalance in the stands has little to do with the result at the end of 80 minutes.

"They do have a fantastic supporter base here," Myles said of the strong Warriors contingent. "Every time they come into town it's always a pretty full stadium but we look forward to it.

"Any time this stadium, built the way it is, has got some good numbers in it is fantastic for both sides."

Myles, currently on 199 career games, is not expected to back-up after suffering a foot injury in Origin II on Wednesday night with Matthew White likely to be added to the bench in his place.
