Workhorse Bulldogs forward Aiden Tolman is happy to be back at training as the Dogs start putting in the hard yards ahead of their 2014 NRL campaign.
Tolman played in every game for the club last season, earning Country Origin selection and winning the Canterbury-Bankstown coach's award, and he's happy to lead from the front in the tough pre-season training period before Christmas.
"That's what the first couple of weeks are – to try to get everyone up to a level they can stay at, so they've got good fitness, they're starting to learn all the plays and our defence and stuff like that," Tolman told Bulldogs TV.
"The first couple of weeks are usually pretty tough. They're trying to get the most out of you, putting you through some tough sessions. Hopefully my body holds up the first couple weeks, and after that the body gets used to the training schedule and you don't feel as bad. But I know the first couple of weeks are going to be tough."
