Warriors forward Bodene Thompson in Round 2 against the Broncos.

The Warriors and Newcastle Knights have both confirmed their final 17 ahead of their Round 1 NRL Telstra Premiership clash at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday.

Bodene Thompson is a late inclusion on the Warriors bench with Erin Clark dropping out. New captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Tui Lolohea and Ken Maumalo make up the back three for the Warriors, with Mafoa'aeata Hingano lining up at five-eighth. Isaiah Papali'i makes his debut from the bench.

The Knights are 1-17. Several new faces, with Dylan Phythian at fullback, Ken Sio making his club debut on the wing, fellow recruits Josh Starling and Jamie Buhrer in the starting pack and rookies Luke Yates and Sam Stone getting their debuts off the bench.
