Just one week after his return to training, star Manly playmaker Kieran Foran is confident back-to-back premierships are possible.
The 21-year-old Kiwi was instrumental in the Sea Eagles success last year as he went on to establish himself as one of the leading pivots in the game.
No team has managed to win two straight titles since Brisbane in 1998, but Foran likes the Sea Eagles' chances.
"We've got pretty much the same roster, and added a few new young boys to the squad," Foran said.
"We've got a few new coaching staff around, and there's no reason why we can't go back-to-back."
After representing New Zealand in the 2011 Four Nations in England, Foran had a well deserved holiday and he's ready to get stuck into training.
While the return has been tough on his body, Foran says the memory of the grand final win helps him push through the pain.
"It was such a great achievement by the club and all the boys and the coaching staff, so hopefully we can produce the same again this year," Foran said.
