Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah has been named to return from injury in Round 21.

Wests Tigers have today confirmed that Robbie Farah has informed the Club of his decision to relinquish the Captaincy ahead of the 2016 season.

Farah has led Wests Tigers admirably during his time as Club Captain, taking on the role during the 2009 season.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked Farah for all that he had done while captaining the Club.

"Robbie has been an exceptional Captain for Wests Tigers over the years and we thank him for the role he has played in leading this Club," said Pascoe.

"We understand the decision to relinquish the Captaincy was an incredibly difficult one for Robbie to make, but one that he has made with the best interests of this Club at heart.

"It's now time for the next generation of leaders to stand up and steer this Club into the future," he said.
