Having played against the Titans Matthew Lodge has been stood down from the Wests Tigers' Round 2 clash.

Wests Tigers have on Sunday imposed sanctions upon Matthew Lodge following an incident on Sunday, January 11.

The Club has found Lodge’s actions unacceptable and in breach of our protocols and standards.

The sanctions include:

- Lodge has been stood down from our Round 2 game against St George Illawarra;

- Previously, Lodge was stood down from the Club’s pre-season trial match against Parramatta in Alice Springs, the NRL Auckland Nines tournament and a week of training; and

- Lodge has been fined $10,000 ($5,000 of which is suspended)

The NRL Integrity Unit has monitored this matter since it arose.

The Club will make no further comment.
