A rare chance to secure unique team-signed 2013 Rugby League World Cup jerseys, including a Sonny Bill Williams-signed Kiwi jersey, is drawing to an end with the NRL Salvation Army Bushfire appeal hosted at nrl.com/auctions concluding on Friday.
More than $20,000 has been raised by NRL fans across three weeks from the auction organised by RLPA president Clint Newton, who played with the USA Tomahawks in the World Cup.
A total of 120 Aussies have taken part in this year's tournament, representing the nations of Australia, Italy, France, Samoa, Scotland, Fiji, England, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, Wales, USA, Cook Islands, Ireland and Tonga.
“The World Cup final is just days away and we are set with a thrilling finish between Australia and New Zealand,” Newton said.
“As the auction draws to a close this is a great chance to secure some incredibly unique memorabilia from a really exciting World Cup.
“I would also like to thank the general public for their support of our auction to date. It is wonderful when people rally behind a cause.”
The final auction will come to a close on midday Friday, December 29.
