NRL.com rates the performances of all 17 New Zealand Kiwis players in the 2017 Anzac Test at GIO Stadium.

‌1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck

Started to open the Aussies up in the second half and scored a slick try but also took some poor options. 6.5

2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak

Rolled his sleeves up and ran for 140 metres but few genuine chances in attack. 6

3. Jordan Kahu

Not much work to do in attack but solid in defence. 5.5

4. Dean Whare

Targeted in defence in the first half but pulled off a bell-ringer on Tyson Frizell in an improved second stanza. 5.5

5. Jordan Rapana

Did his best to spark his team with countless strong carries coming in off his wing and was one of the Kiwis' best despite two second-half errors. 7

6. Kieran Foran

Did his best to add some control in his international return but was well-contained by the Kangaroos. 5.5

7. Shaun Johnson

Plenty of rocks and diamonds but the Kiwis need more diamonds and fewer rocks. Forced plenty of repeat sets and set up two second half tries but too often took poor options as the Aussies ran away with the first half. 6.5

8. Jesse Bromwich

Big stint from the skipper with 160 metres and 24 tackles but still somewhat outshone by his green and gold opposites. 7

9. Issac Luke

Little impact out of dummy-half and four missed tackles for the long-serving Kiwi rake. 5

10. Russell Packer

Muscular return to international footy for the in-form Dragon six years after his most recent Test. 6.5

11. Kevin Proctor

Made plenty of tackles but the one he missed on Sam Thaiday in the first half was a bad one as his edge got found out by the Aussies. 5.5

12. Simon Mannering

Scored a second-half try but was complicit in the Kiwis' first-half defensive woes with seven missed tackles. 5.5

13. Jason Taumalolo

Showed plenty with ball in hand on his way to 185 metres – the most of any forward from either team – and five tackle busts. 7.5

Interchange

14. Adam Blair

Got through 80 metres and 22 tackles in 41 minutes off the bench. 5
