Winning artwork
- The successful artist will receive a fee of five-thousand dollars ($5,000 AUD) in consideration for the exclusive licence granted to ARLC for use on the 2025 Indigenous All-Stars Men’s and Women’s jersey and for use across selected products within the 2025 Indigenous All-Stars Merchandise program, and any other use of the design for either commercial or non-commercial purposes by ARLC and/or NRL.
- The successful artist will also be supplied, free of charge, with one (1) full set of the merchandise range featuring their winning design and will also be invited to various 2025 All Stars Match related events including the 2025 All Stars Match.
Timeline
- Submission Period commences: Wednesday 20th December, 10:00am
- Competition Period ends: Wednesday 31st January 2024, 5:00pm
- Final submission notified: Thursday 8th February 2024, 5:00pm
Evaluation criteria
Eligibility: This design submission is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are established and emerging artists. No professional qualification is required for entry. Submissions can be made as individuals only.
Ineligibility: Submissions from artists who are non-Aboriginal or non-Torres Strait Islander will not be considered. Judging panel members, and their spouses/partners/family members, are not eligible to submit a design.
An Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is someone who is all of the following:
- is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
- identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- is accepted as such by their local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
