Bulldogs forward Greg Eastwood is excited by what his rookie teammates bring to the NRL side.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs forward Greg Eastwood will miss his side's Round 22 clash with the Broncos after being found guilty for a dangerous contact charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

Eastwood's grade one charge on Roosters halfback Mitchell Pearce wouldn't normally warrant a suspension, but the Bulldogs forward had 73 carry-over points which is enough to rule him out of Friday night's blockbuster clash with the Broncos. He now also carries 93 carry-over points, meaning another charge would likely see him miss further game time.

Meanwhile Canberra winger Edrick Lee will spend a week on the sideline after he entered an early guilty plea for a tripping charge, cited for an incident involving North Queensland's Justin O'Neil in the second half of the Raiders' loss to the Cowboys.

Wests Tigers' Keith Galloway (contact with match official), Canberra's Blake Austin (dangerous throw) and St George Illawarra's Leeson Ah Mau (careless high tackle) have all avoided suspension with early pleas.

Roosters forward Kane Evans was not charged with a shoulder charge, with the NRL match review committee deeming a penalty sufficient.

Parramatta halfback Luke Kelly will be free to play in Round 22, entering an early guilty plea after he was charged with a careless high tackle on Gold Coast fullback Josh Hoffman.
