Charlie Gubb makes a run against Manly in Round 19.

Warriors forward Charlie Gubb has been suspended for seven matches after he was unsuccessful at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

Gubb's grade 2 shoulder charge on Manly forward Darcy Lussick was upheld by the NRL judiciary, with loading of two similar prior offences meaning the Warriors forward will miss the next seven matches.

The Warriors had hoped to get the charge downgraded but were unsuccessful on Wednesday night.

Four other NRL players will serve one match suspensions including Greg Bird (grade 2 careless high tackle) and three Newcastle players; Sione Mata'utia (careless high tackle), Daniel Saifiti (shoulder charge) and Jake Mamo (grade 2 dangerous contact).
