Promising Canberra Raiders centre Jeremy Hawkins has re-signed with the club for another two years, tying him to the club until 2017.

Hawkins made three first-grade appearances late last year and is yet to be defeated in the NRL.

Hawkins said he’s excited about continuing his career at the Raiders after making his way through the juniors and hopes to make it a long term partnership.

“I’m really happy to re-sign with the club. I’ve been here since SG Ball and have come through the grades with players like Jack Ahearn, Mitch Cornish and Jeff Lynch. It’s good that those players are still here as well,” Hawkins said.

“Since coming here from New Zealand, I’ve always wanted to stay with the Raiders and be a one club kind of guy."
