The Broncos aren't blaming Ben Hunt for their golden point loss to the Cowboys in the 2015 decider.

Brisbane halfback Ben Hunt has been suspended for one match but should be free to play Round 1 next season given the Broncos' likely involvement in the World Club Series after accepting an early guilty plea for his tackle on Kane Linnett in the 2015 Grand Final.

The 77th minute grade two dangerous throw attracted a base penalty of 325 points, but a discount for seven years without any acts of foul play has seen that reduced to 162 points with the early guilty plea.

Broncos teammate Adam Blair also accepted an early guilty plea for his careless high tackle on Jake Granville, with 32 carryover points taking the prop dangerously close to a one-week ban, missing suspension by just one point.
