Each team has one player who can turn a game on its head and secure victory with an amazing play, and for the Sea Eagle's that X-Factor is Jamie Lyon.

To celebrate the finals, NRL.com has launched a new NRL X-Factors application, where fans can vote on their favourite X-Factor in a head-to-head battle.

Check out the best moments of Lyon's NRL career and cast your vote on our new X-Factors page.

1. Round 24, 2000
Lyon announces his attacking prowess with his first ever NRL try while also adding three line-breaks and a try assist for the Eels against the Raiders. Lyon also runs the Raiders ragged with 159 metres of territory.

2. Round 24, 2003
Lyon bags a Parramatta club record five tries as the Eels annihilate the Sharks 74-4. He plunders three tries in four minutes from the 53-minute mark – his third try of the night in the 55th minute a devastating 50-metre sprint down the right edge.

3. Round 8, 2007
Superstars are capable of freakish things – like Lyon’s incredible tap-back of a grubber that looked certain to dribble dead in-goal but was instead gathered and grounded by team-mate Michael Robertson i. It helped Manly secure a 46-20 win over the Raiders.

4. Round 20, 2007
‘Killer’ crosses for two tries for Manly in his return to Parramatta Stadium as the Sea Eagles defeat his former side 32-24. The game hangs in the balance until Lyon cuts through on the left edge with nine minutes remaining.

5. Grand Final Qualifier, 2008
Few players are as strong as Lyon when chasing the attacking high ball – as the star showed when he hunted down a towering bomb, caught it and offloaded to Matt Orford who scored as the Sea Eagles overcame the Warriors 32-6 to advance to the 2008 decider.

6. Round 9, 2009
Few players think outside the square like Jamie Lyon does; his quick decision to kick ahead for himself reaped a try that would prove crucial as Manly defeated the Broncos 22-20 at Suncorp Stadium.

7. Round 5, 2011
Lyon wins the game for Manly against Cronulla in the dying stages of a tense clash at Toyota Stadium. Trailing 17-13, he chip kicks over the top from 10 metres inside the Manly half, with the ball bouncing perfectly into the hands of Michael Oldfield who races 50 metres to score as the fulltime siren blares.

8. Grand Final Qualifier, 2011
Lyon shows incredible strength to deny Matt Gillett a try in the 69th minute. Manly led 26-10 at the time but seemed certain to see their advantage eroded when Gillett steamed onto a pass from Justin Hodges at close range, only for Lyon to flip him over and thwart the play.

9. Grand Final 2011
Lyon caps a wonderful year by scoring the final try of the 2012 season, charging onto a pass from Glenn Stewart on the right edge as Manly win the decider 24-10.

10. Round 16, 2012
He just keeps getting better and better – Lyon scores a record 24 points for Manly as the Sea Eagles thump the Roosters 52-14. Manly score nine tries, with Lyon crossing for the final two as well as booting eight goals from nine attempts.
