NSW forward Trent Merrin upends Queensland fullback Greg Inglis in State of Origin III at Suncorp Stadium.

NSW forwards Trent Merrin, Beau Scott and James Tamou have all entered guilty pleas to charges arising from State of Origin III, with Merrin to serve a four-match ban.

Merrin's grade two dangerous throw charge on Cameron Smith - plus 68 carryover points - means he'll miss four matches and could have risked a five-match ban had he challenged the charge at the judiciary and lost.

Meanwhile Scott and Tamou will both serve one-match bans after pleading guilty to a grade one dangerous throw charge and a grade two careless high tackle respectively.
