Members and fans of all NRL clubs now have their chance to be part of the Grand Final celebrations, with tickets on sale at the Sydney Opera House for the first ever Telstra Premiership Grand Final Fan Party on Thursday, September 30. <br><br> On the steps of the iconic Sydney Opera House, the two Telstra Premiership Grand Final teams will make their final public appearance, joining with NRL stars and One Community ambassadors as Rugby League celebrates its connection with members and fans from across the country. <br><br> Autograph sessions, coaching clinics, One Community ‘Rugby League Reads’ and ‘Eat Well, Play Well, Stay Well’ activities, face painting, cheerleader performances, club mascot appearances, street theatre, entertainment and merchandise stalls will all be part of a fun-filled celebration that will culminate with the broadcast of Channel 9’s Grand Final Footy Show. <br><br> “This is an opportunity for members and fans across Sydney and for those visiting the city to be part of the Grand Final celebrations,” NRL Chief Executive, Mr David Gallop, said. <br><br> “There are a host of activities for families to enjoy and the last chance for fans to see the two Grand Final teams together before the game. <br><br> “It will be a special event and with limited tickets available I would encourage all members and fans to get in early and secure a seat.” <br><br> The Grand Final Footy Show will start at 6pm and will entertain members and fans with the biggest show of the year featuring Fatty, Sterlo, Darryl Brohman, Sam Burgess, Billy Slater, Nathan Hindmarsh, comedy from the Scared Weird Little Guys and live music from The PotBelleez. <br><br> “The Sydney Opera House will form the perfect backdrop for this great initiative by the NRL for all Rugby League fans on Thursday, September 30," said Nine Executive Producer - Event TV, Gary Burns. <br><br> “To top off this exciting NRL Grand Final Fan Party event, The Footy Show will broadcast the Grand Final show from the Opera House forecourt. <br><br> “Nine has a massive show planned, with the biggest names in the game joining The Footy Show plus a special live performance by The PotBelleez.” <br><br> All NRL Club Members and fans are reminded that the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final Fan Day is a ticketed event. <br><br> Tickets cost just $5 and are available from the Sydney Opera House ticket office.
