In the biggest ever pre-sale for a Telstra Preliminary Finals Series match, Wests Tigers and St George Illawarra Dragons Ticketed Club Members today snapped up more than 15,000 tickets for Saturday night’s Preliminary Final blockbuster at ANZ Stadium ahead of tickets going on sale to the general public from 9am tomorrow.

Friday night’s Preliminary Final between the Gold Coast Titans and Sydney Roosters also recorded strong Ticketed Club Member sales today with more than 8,300 tickets sold as of 5pm.

Today’s pre-sale for the Dragons-Wests Tigers match surpasses the 12,500 sold for last year’s Preliminary Final between the Bulldogs and Eels, which attracted a crowd in excess of 74,000.

NRL.com members will also have an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets tonight from 9pm while tickets for both Telstra Premiership Preliminary Finals will go sale to the general public at 9am tomorrow through Ticketek on 132 849, at Ticketek outlets or online at www.ticketek.com.au. Dragons and Wests Tigers Ticketed Members please note that Ticketek has established a customer feedback number following today’s disruption to the online service and any enquiries can be made to Ticketek on 1300 130 300.

For both matches, all members will be limited to a maximum of 10 tickets per membership. All supporters will be limited to a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction.

Please note, as both matches carry major event status, public transport to and from Suncorp Stadium and ANZ Stadium is included in the ticket price.

In Brisbane, present your game-day ticket to receive free travel to and from the Stadium on Brisbane Transport bus and Queensland Rail services. This free travel offer applies from midday to the last scheduled service on game day.

With TransLink Bus Services (Brisbane Transport Only), patrons can catch regular timetabled services. In addition, special bus services from the City, Carindale, Eight Mile Plains/Mt Gravatt (Garden City), Chermside and The Gap run direct to the Stadium at regular intervals for two hours before kick-off. At the end of the game, for a one-hour period, high frequency bus services will operate. With Queensland Rail Services, Milton and Roma Street are the closest stations for patrons travelling to and from the Stadium. Regular timetabled services and any additional services run to and from both stations.

In Sydney, tickets include travel to and from the match on CityRail trains, the Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus Services, regular Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries services.

The ticket is not valid on Sydney Buses premium services such as the Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer, Sydney Ferries Manly JetCat service, private buses and ferries, CountryLink trains, Metro Light Rail or Monorail, T-Ways. An additional station access fee applies for travel on the Green Square, Mascot, Domestic and International stations on the Airport Line.

Please note, rail construction/maintenance works that have been scheduled for over 12 months will take place on the Illawarra, South Coast and Eastern Suburbs lines this weekend and will affect fans travelling to ANZ Stadium on Saturday night. This trackwork requires buses to replace trains for customers travelling on the Eastern Suburbs, Illawarra, South Coast and Richmond Lines.  Check www.cityrail.com.au for full details.
