Jason Ryles says the Roosters are ready to silence the huge south-east Queensland crowd that is set to turn up and support the Gold Coast Titans at Suncorp Stadium tomorrow night.

Over 40,000 are expected to stream in for the first preliminary final, the majority hoping to lift fairytale team the Titans into their first ever NRL grand final.

But after arriving at Brisbane Airport this afternoon, international prop Ryles said the Roosters were hoping to make it a dismal night for the home fans.

He said if they were silent it would mean the Roosters were flying.

"The mentaliy we have to have is a bit of a siege mentality," he said.

"The quieter we can keep that crowd, the better we are going in the game."

There has been split opinions on whether the week off the Titans and Dragons have had is an advantage.

The Roosters say it doesn't matter as they were never going to get one anyway.

"We knew we were pretty much no chance of getting a break, so it was never in our thought process," said Ryles.

"We feel pretty good and fresh and ready to go."
