Grand finalists the Sydney Roosters will kick-off the 2011 Telstra Premiership season against arch rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs in an NRL blockbuster on March 11 at the Sydney Football.
The NRL today released the dates and times of matches for the first five rounds of the 2011 Telstra Premiership, plus the venues for all matches this season, with the Broncos and the Cowboys launching the year in Queensland at Suncorp Stadium.
The Warriors will tackle the Eels in the first-ever NRL match at the historic Eden Park when they kick off a Super Saturday line-up that also features the Storm playing the Sea Eagles and the Titans tackling 2010 Premiers, the Dragons, on the Gold Coast in a thrilling encounter that will follow on from the excitement of the 2011 Harvey Norman All Stars clash.
The Raiders and Sharks and Panthers and Knights will start their seasons on Sunday, March 13, with the Bulldogs and Wests Tigers kicking off the first Monday night match of the season at ANZ Stadium.
