Fans from the Shire have responded strongly on day one of the Membership Premiership , with the Sharks moving over 170 memberships this morning to take a strong first up lead of the inter-club challenge.<br> <br> Kicking off their membership drive with the launch of the Father-Son membership package this morning, the Sharks are looking to leave no stone unturned as they attempt to take out the ‘Battle of the Beaches’ with a week-long drive, including hit the train stations and Cronulla Mall/Esplanade during the week to recruit members.<br> <br> The Sea Eagles, who have had a bit of a slower start to their Membership Premiership campaign, plan to hit back this afternoon with their "Next Generation" Membership Drive this afternoon at Narrabeen, with the club hoping to sign up 1,000 members during the event, whilst the Roosters have a few planned events scheduled for during later in the week to help press their claims in the challenge.<br> <strong><br> Current ‘Battle of the Beaches’ numbers: </strong><br> <iframe src="" width="620" height="800"> </iframe>
