Sharks surge ahead in 'Battle of the Beaches'

The Cronulla Sharks have continued their charge in the inaugural round of the Membership Premiership, moving another 400 memberships over the past 24 hours to jump up to outright first in the ‘Battle of the Beaches’.<br> <br> In what has been one of the biggest days for membership sales for the three clubs, the Roosters have also kick started their challenge for the $10,000 membership grant from the NRL, moving a solid 300 memberships to race to secure second spot at lunch on Day Three. In a great sign for the club, the Roosters have now surpassed their final total from last season<br> <br> The Roosters now will be looking to challenge for top spot when key players, including Braith Anasta, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Mitchell Pearce and Jason Ryles are available to handle membership enquires in the Roosters Membership Phone drive from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. <br> <br> Any Roosters fans looking to secure a membership, and the chance to talk to one of the Roosters players should call the Roosters Membership Hotline on (02) 8063 3800.
