Raiders lead the way with membership spike

News of Matt Orford’s signing with the Raiders has sparked renewed interest in the Green Machine, with the club moving over 1,000 memberships in the last week to put themselves back on track for their 2011 goal of 8,000.

With a renewed vigour in the club, and news that excitement machine Josh Dugan will make his first representative appearance in next week’s Harvey Norman All Stars match, the club is hoping to exceed their 2010 total in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile moving further south, Melbourne Storm members have been renewing their memberships in strong numbers, with nearly a third of their 2010 supporter base committed for the new season after less than two weeks after going on sale.

South Sydney Rabbitohs continue to lead the overall tally for most memberships sold, with the club on the verge of breaking the 17,000 barrier, whilst the Titans continue to have the biggest increase on their last year’s membership figures, recording more than a 20% growth with still more than a month till season kick off.

Please Note: For this week, clubs competing for Battle of the Beaches have been excluded from the Membership table due to their numbers being updated on a more regular basis.  To see how your club is doing in the Battle of the Beaches, click here.
