Beaches clubs surge past 2010 figures
Strong sales in last week’s ‘Battle of the Beaches’ promotion has seen the Cronulla Sharks, Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney Roosters join the Gold Coast Titans already exceed their 2010 membership totals with still a month to go before season kick off.
With all three clubs increasing by an average of over 2,000 memberships since their last update two weeks ago, pressure has been put on the fans of the next round of the Membership Premiership, the Battle of the Legends, to achieve similar growth.
In other membership news, the Melbourne Storm have now grown to 4,500 memberships, whilst the Raiders, Warriors and Knights are all on the verge of equalling their 2010 figures and will be hoping to pass that landmark by next week’s update.
