The St George Illawarra Dragons have today named a 20-man squad 0 for the World Club Challenge against Wigan on Sunday, February 27 at DW Stadium in the UK.

The squad contains 14 players from the 2010 Premiership winning team, with Bronx Goodwin the only player not to have played with the Dragons in 2010.

"The World Club Challenge is a prestigious event on the international rugby league calendar and everyone at the Dragons is very proud of the achievement of winning the 2010 NRL competition which affords us this opportunity to participate," said Dragons coach Wayne Bennett.

"We have had a strong pre-season and I am happy with our preparation leading into the match against the English champions, Wigan. All the players have been extremely committed throughout the pre-season and it was a difficult decision to determine the final make up of the travelling squad.

"Wigan are a quality team and will be a huge challenge, particularly on home soil, but one that we are all looking forward to."

The Dragons opened their 2011 season with a 32-10 victory over the Rabbitohs in the annual Charity Shield on Sunday. They will face the Bulldogs at WIN Stadium, Wollongong this Friday night in what will be their last match before the World Club Challenge.

The WCC squad will depart for the UK on Saturday and will train in London for five days before heading north for the match.
