'Battle of the Legends' going down to the wire
Dragons and Rabbitohs fans have reacted to the Bulldogs strong membership numbers in the past 24 hours, by joining their club en mass.
South Sydney’s faithful have taken their club back to the top of the table with a total of 788 members for the week. The club will be hoping to consolidate this position tomorrow with the release of their 2011 Membership TVC. Red and Green members will be the first to see this ad tomorrow, so if you want a sneak peak – join the Rabbitohs today.
Dragons Red V Members have committed to the club on the back of players calling prospective members and personally signing their packs. The club is expecting strong membership numbers in the lead up to the Mercury Challenge on Friday night.
The Bulldogs, currently in 3rd position, are encouraging all their prospective members to head out tonight to the Bulldogs Team store at Centro Bankstown from 7:00pm, where they can meet star players Andrew Ryan, Frank Pritchard and Greg Eastwood and sign up for their 2011 membership on the spot. The Bulldogs have also announced Channel Ten newsreader Bill Woods has cemented his lifelong commitment to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs by signing up as the Club’s 10,000th Member for NRL season 2011.
With the finish line in sight, all three clubs are still in the hunt to take out this weeks Membership Premiership ‘Battle of the Legends’, and $10,000.
