St George Illawarra Dragons Nathan Fien has warned his team-mates about the challenges they may encounter during their Probiz World Club Challenge clash against the Wigan Warriors this Sunday.

The Dragons hooker has singled out Warriors and New Zealand international Thomas Leuluai as a possible threat having witnessed first hand what the hooker is capable of from their time together on Test duty.

“Thomas is a little competitor and very tough,” said Fien.

“He’s definitely going to lead the side around as he’s very experienced having been with the Kiwis for a number of years.

“We’ve had a few hit-outs now and just sharpening up the preparation.”

The squad completed another skills sessions and weights session at the training ground of London Wasps Rugby Union Club, located in the London suburb of Acton, before being given some time off to explore their new surroundings.

“I’m having a great time so far with the beautiful English weather outside,” said Fien.

“I went around with the boys and looked at a few of the sights such as Big Ben as well as spending some quality time getting ready.”

The Dragons are currently based in the nation’s capital to continue their preparation until Friday before travelling north to Salford in Manchester.

Dragons five-eighth Jamie Soward caught up with Fien at the end of the skills session to see how he has been spending his time in the UK.
