Memberships continue go from strength to strength
Memberships continue to go from strength to strength as we count down to the hours to the kick off of the 2011 NRL Telstra Premiership season.
After breaking last year’s cumulative total of over 144,000 last week, combined memberships across the clubs have now broken the 160,000 barrier, and continue to sell at a strong rate.
Across the 16 individual premiership clubs, the Brisbane Broncos and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have now joined 11 of the 16 Premiership clubs in exceeding their 2010 totals after enjoying strong weeks of sales, and are on track to reach their targets.
Western Sydney clubs, the Wests Tigers and Penrith Panthers have also enjoyed a significant boost thanks to last week’s Membership Premiership, and have reach over 25% growth, whilst the Parramatta Eels have clawed in their 2010 total, and will be looking to be in positive territory before their first home game against the Panthers in Round 2.
In terms of the biggest growth since 2010, the Warriors (73%), Sea Eagles (64%) and Roosters (44%) continue to lead the way and are all on track for to hit 10,000 members each.
