State of Origin fever has arrived with NSW and Queensland counting down the days ahead of next Wednesday's Game 1.

The difference between the two states and the two approaches to State of Origin this week were worlds apart.  On Sunday afternoon NSW named their team in a traditional press conference format, while two days later; Queensland players were introduced individually like rock-stars to a packed auditorium in Brisbane. What does it mean for the series? Not a whole lot. But for someone who was at both, it made fascinating viewing to say the least.

The official State of Origin site is live and is your one-stop location for all your Origin news; straight from the two teams themselves and our experts.
