Hopoate one of five changes to Blues for Origin II

Sea Eagles sensation Will Hopoate is one of five changes to the NSW VB Blues team named this afternoon for game two of the 2011 Harvey Norman State of Origin series on Wednesday week (June 15) at Sydney's ANZ Stadium.

Hopoate, 19, is the only debutant among the new faces, which includes experienced campaigners with 32 Origin appearances between them - Jarryd Hayne, 23 (Eels), named on the wing and interchange players Anthony Watmough, 27 (Manly), Luke Lewis, 27 (Panthers) and Kurt Gidley, 28 (Newcastle).

Out from Origin I are centre Michael Jennings and winger Brett Morris, because of injury; and Dean Young, Kade Snowden and Jason King.

Raiders fullback Josh Dugan has been named subject to a fitness test after he left the field injured today in his side's loss to the Cowboys in Canberra. Suncorp Stadium on May 25.

New South wales Rugby League chairman John Chalk announced the team at the NSW Leagues Club.

The Queensland Origin team will be named on Tuesday.
