Prized 2011 Cowboys recruit Brent Tate, who made his debut for the club just two weeks ago, will be the special live chat guest on at midday on Thursday.

Tate returned to the field a month ahead of schedule in Round 19 to finally make his debut for his new club and play his first game in eight months after his third knee reconstruction.

The former Kangaroos, Queensland, Broncos and Warriors centre ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the Four Nations final against New Zealand last November and was expected to be out for nine months.

His appearance was a timely boost for the Cowboys who are missing co-captain Johnathan Thurston with a knee injury in their end-of-season chase for a top four finish.

The fourth-placed Cowboys will this weekend play a desperate ninth-placed Panthers at Townsville’s Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday night, with Penrith fighting to keep their top eight play-off hopes alive.
