From hero to legend: Andrew Ryan

Originally from Dubbo, Andrew 'Bobcat' Ryan made his NRL debut for the Parramatta Eels in 2000. 

In 2003 he moved to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, going on to play over 200 matches for the club. Taking over as Bulldogs skipper in 2004 as a replacement for the injured Steve Price, Ryan has captained with distinction for seven seasons.

Ryan made his representative debut in 2001 for the NSW Blues, and made his Kangaroos debut three seasons later in 2004.
