Manly-Warringah fans will have access to a free direct door-to-door bus service from the northern beaches to cheer on the Sea Eagles when they play the Brisbane Broncos in the Telstra Premiership Preliminary Final at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday night, September 23 at 7.45pm.

The Sea Eagles shuttles will commence at 4.00pm with buses direct to the SFS running every 15 minutes until 5.15pm, and then every 10 minutes until 6.45pm.

The STA Buses will commence at Warriewood near the Park n Ride facility (Jacksons Rd), with further fan pick-up points at Narrabeen (Pittwater and Waterloo Rd), Collaroy Beach (near Collaroy Rd), Dee Why (Howard Ave), Brookvale opposite Manly-Warringah Leagues Club, Warringah Mall  at Brookvale and at Manly Vale (Condamine and Innes Rd) before an express service to the SFS.

Return buses will depart the Moore Park Bus Station opposite the SCG from 15 minutes before full-time up until an hour after the full-time siren.

Sea Eagles Chief Executive David Perry said the bus service is a great initiative for Manly supporters to cheer their team into the Grand Final.

“We want to see a procession of buses full of fans decked out in maroon and white making their way to the SFS,” said Mr Perry.

“Manly fans are fiercely loyal to Des Hasler, Jamie Lyon and the team and the best way to help lift them towards another Grand Final is to get out to the SFS in droves and cheer them on.

“We want to turn the SFS into a maroon and white cauldron and the best and easiest way to do that is to take the free 50-55 minute trip, using the hassle-free exclusive bus lane, out to the SFS,” he added.

“This is a great opportunity to show Rugby League supporters what makes Manly fans so special.”

For fans taking the Manly Ferry to Circular Quay, buses will operate from the Quay to the SFS with return trips at full-time.
