The home-ground advantage didn’t help the Panthers when they played the Titans at Centrebet Stadium in Round 4 – the Titans kept the Panthers scoreless in the first half and went on to win 28-10.

It was the third win in a row for the Titans, who had the benefit of a controversial obstruction call going their way.
Tom Humble touched down for the Panthers for what would have been the first try of the match, but it was disallowed because Panthers forward Sika Manu had run into defender Greg Bird.

The Titans led 12-0 at halftime, and the closest the Panthers got after that was when they trailed 18-10 with 17 minutes to go.

But two late tries to Titans winger Kevin Gordon finished the Panthers off.
