It’s an exciting time to be a rugby league fan - and the 100th State of Origin clash is guaranteed to be an occasion you won't want to miss!

With the game’s elite starring in Representative Round, fans' attention returns to the Telstra Premiership, as players put forward their cases for inclusion in the New South Wales and Queensland sides for the opening game of the 2014 Holden State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium on May 28.

With Game One fast approaching, there are so many intriguing story lines, and questions that need to be answered.

Game One will mark the 100th occasion both states have met – will Queensland begin their charge to a ninth consecutive Origin series victory? Or will New South Wales take the early advantage?

The Queensland side has tended to pick itself of recent times, but with injuries and inconsistent form, coach Mal Meninga will have some important decisions to make.

Likewise Blues mentor Laurie Daley, who has a number of key players struggling with injury. In his second year in the job, he’ll have learnt from last year’s experiences.

Whichever way you look at it, you have to be at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday, May 28th.
