Broncos second-rower Alex Glenn says free agent coach Wayne Bennett will "make a difference" to any club that he decides to go at the end of the season.
The seven-time premiership-winning mentor officially announced himself on the open market last week once his duties with Newcastle wrap up, and his former club are considered one of the favourites to snare his signature.
Glenn was reluctant to comment on the possible return of the man who put the Broncos on the map, but guaranteed that whichever team Bennett signs with will get a man who can single-handedly revive a club.
"He's well experienced with the coaching game and he's one of the coaches that everyone looks up to. Obviously he'll bring a lot to any club that he goes to," Glenn told NRL.com.
"I haven't looked into it too much, but I'm sure whichever team he goes to, I know he'll make a difference."
Current Brisbane coach Anthony Griffin has done an admirable job in 2014, lifting his team into the top eight after missing the finals last season. It was just the second time since 1993 that the glamour club failed to appear in September.
Monday night's defeat in Penrith means Brisbane have now lost three straight for the first time this year. And after a strong start to the season, the Queensland side are now in real danger of falling out of the top eight should they succumb to a Warriors side that has won five of its past six.
But Glenn remained confident that he and his teammates can recover from their past two losses to the Panthers and Sharks, beginning with a strong showing at home against the New Zealanders on Saturday night.
"Not trying to get too far ahead of ourselves, but we've just got to focus on next week's game and what we've got to do and build from it," he said.
"I know if we don't lose our confidence and we keep developing each other's one per centers out on the field, we can go a long way. We've still got to have that belief in each other. We're still in a good position I reckon.
"It's going to be a huge game, they're going great, man. They're always a tough game. They've got a big following up in Brissy so we know we've got to bring our A-game and make sure we address where we went wrong against Penrith and prepare hard for that game."
Warriors fullback Sam Tomkins has been in stellar form of late, topping 140 metres four times in his past six games. His three line breaks and two tries in the Warriors' 48-0 demolition of Parramatta last week were both season-highs.
"He's going great, isn't he? I've been watching him and it seems like he's fitting in well with their team's structure and it looks like he's building a lot of confidence. All them boys are in fine form," Glenn said.
